Tournament 2021

The world's tennis elite present at the 4th edition of the TRAM Barcelona Open

After a tough year marked by the Covid health crisis, the TRAM Barcelona Open returned with more enthusiasm and strength than ever.

Applying all the health recommendations, more than 400 people attended the tournament.

The men’s and women’s finals were broadcast live on Esports3 for the first time and as a great novelty of this edition, we launched our official APP of the tournament with which you can follow all the competition live.

The best rackets in the world from 16 different nationalities and with the best ranking achieved so far came together, especially highlighting the women’s draw where we have the presence of the world No. 1 and winner of this edition, the Dutch Diede de Groot and the world No. 2, the Japanese Yui Kamiji, who starred in a historic final and repeated after both Roland Garros and the Tokyo Paralympics. In the men’s draw, the champion was the Argentinian Gustavo Fernandez, world No. 2, who beat the young Belgian Jef Vandorpe in a spectacular final.
