Sustainable Development Goals

The Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) are a universal call to action to protect the planet and improve the living conditions of people around the world.

In 2015, the Member States of the United Nations (UN) established the 2030 Agenda, a plan to achieve Sustainable Development through 17 objectives, among which are access to quality education, gender equality or climate action, among others.

Organizations play a fundamental role in achieving these objectives, for this reason, from the TRAM Barcelona Open we have identified in which objectives our impact is most relevant and we work to develop them.

SDG - Good Health and Well-Being

Create a tournament that raises awareness among the citizens of Barcelona about the importance of playing sports and leading a healthy lifestyle.

SDG - Reduce inequalities

Highlight adapted sport as a method of social inclusion and give it visibility as a highly competitive sport.

SDG - Sustainable cities and communities

Reduce the environmental impact of the tournament by promoting waste recycling and the use of sustainable transport to attend the competition.

SDG - Gender equality

Contribute to the elimination of discrimination against women, ensuring that they have the same opportunities in all areas of life, in our case, in sport.
